As my Transaction Coordinator, Jenny is a vital member of my team managing the day-to-day task of ensuring my real estate transaction files are compliant with CA Department of Real Estate rules & regs. I can’t think of a better person to talk through disclosures with me and save me from being accused of mansplaining!
There are numerous real estate websites consumers can go to for property information. Some of them are owned by real estate brokerages, some not. The general information they provide is useful but it’s not the property specific disclosures that licensed agents have access to. At a certain point it becomes essential to work with a real estate agent to gain access to disclosures and to also understand how to interpret the disclosures. This podcast is an effort to help you understand how to approach reading a disclosure packet once you’ve received it from your agent.
